Sheba Consulting Hospital is keen to provide the diagnostic service because accuracy in the diagnosis is the basis of the correct and appropriate treatment, so the department is equipped with a staff and an integrated team that includes specialists, technicians and administrators to provide integrated support for this department. Modern devices were also selected based on the accuracy of the qualitative and quantitative diagnosis in accordance with the standards regulating the quality of devices
The staff in the laboratory department provides analytical and diagnostic services including clinical chemistry, immunology, serology, virology, hematology, clinical microscopy, microbiology, urine and stool analysis and cytology.
It also includes an integrated blood bank with the latest devices for the safe and proper transfer of blood with the availability of separation devices for blood components as a unique service in the governorate.
The laboratories operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
